Up to 90 new jobs are set to be created with the opening of the new McDonald’s in Carrick-on-Shannon on Wednesday, November 8th. two-storey restaurant, with 31 car parking spaces (including two mobility impaired spaces, three electric vehicle spaces and two grill bays), bicycle parking and an outdoor seating area. According to the company the new roles created in Carrick-on-Shannon will range from crew members to managerial and will include both full and part time positions. McDonald’s Franchisee Elaine Sterio says the company expects to create more than 90 jobs initially with this number increasing as time goes on.
